Most clients require 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart to achieve significant permanent reduction. Hair grows in cycles and laser is only effective during the active growth phase. Annual top-up sessions may be needed for hormonal areas.
The DEKA laser system includes wavelength settings appropriate for a range of skin tones. Monica will assess your Fitzpatrick skin type and select the appropriate parameters. All clients receive a patch test before commencing a treatment course.
Most clients describe the sensation as a brief snap or warming feeling as the laser fires. Modern DEKA technology includes cooling to minimise discomfort. Sensitive areas may feel more intense but the sensation passes immediately.
We treat virtually any area of the face or body — upper lip, chin, underarms, full legs, half legs, bikini, Brazilian, arms, back, chest, and abdomen. Custom zones can be discussed at your consultation.
Active tans significantly increase risk. We ask clients to avoid sun exposure and tanning products for at least 4 weeks before laser hair removal. If you arrive with visible tan lines, your appointment may need to be rescheduled for your safety.
